Position Summary:
A Battalion Chief is a senior-level position in a fire department, responsible for overseeing operations, managing personnel, and coordinating emergency responses. The Battalion Chief is the highest rank in the shift supervisory position. It requires significant experience, familiarization and understanding of fire department operations. Directs emergency scene operations, supervises, and performs specialized functions in support of the fire department. Provides supervisory management and leadership at the shift level to firefighters and lower ranking officers. CURRENT CPAT REQUIRED. Must have a current instructor certificate in Kentucky and a minimum of five years paid experience.

Seasonal Snow Removal CDL Truck Driver

CDL Truck Driver/General Laborer

This position requires the responsible operation of all trucks and equipment used by the road department, including but not limited to; chain saws, weed eaters, generators, mowers, hand tools, chippers, pickups, dump trucks. This position is also required to perform any duties assigned by supervision. Applicants must possess a valid Class B CDL license, an up-to-date medical card and a good driving record.
