Hi my name is Licorice. I am a Shar-Pei mix, heavy on the Shar-Pei — I’ve got all the rolls even though I’m not fat! I love to talk and tell all my problems to anyone who will listen, even if it’s just me hearing myself. I’m house broke and have pretty good manners in the home. I can be a little picky about the dogs I hang out with since I used to be a street dog, and I do sometimes get jealous when other animals are getting attention, but I’m learning that I don’t have to compete for love. The good news is I’m friendly with cats and do well meeting strangers. I don’t pull terribly on a leash once I get to know you, and I’m smart and determined — smart enough that if my kennel isn’t clipped shut, I know how to flip the latch and let myself out! I would love to snuggle up on the couch with someone, watch TV, and just be there with the people I love. With a patient person to guide me, I’ll continue growing into a loyal and loving companion. ????
